Back at the station from the Citywide Cleanup Day in Florence... helped remove a couple bags worth of trash from McFarland Park, contributing to a whole truckload being collected at the Coliseum!

Florence Cleanup Day

Hello everyone,

We just got back to the station from Florence's Citywide Cleanup Day, where we helped clean up McFarland Park along with Mayor Irons and his family.

Luckily we were able to contribute to a whole truckload of garbage bags being collected at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum for disposal.

Just want to thank everyone who listened to our requests to come out and help... the event was an overwhelming success thanks to you.

Florence Cleanup Day

Just reminding everyone to come out to the City of Florence's Cleanup Day tomorrow morning. We'll be meeting up at the Florence Coliseum at 8am.

This event is only going to last until noon, so you have absoluely no excuse to spend one Saturday morning helping out Florence with their spring cleaning!

Hello everyone,

Well, I've finally found the time to create a Blogger account for WBTG News, where I'll be posting stories and news bits relating to the Shoals Area.
